On June 10, 1925 the United Church of Canada came into being through the union of the Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregational Churches.
In 1960 the congregation purchased the local school that had been built in 1938. This building, adjoining the property at 4720 48 Avenue, was then used as a Christian Education Hall.
In 1968 the church which had been built in 1914 was sold and demolished. The present church was built in 1968, adjoining the Christian Education Hall. The dedication service was held June 16, 1968.
